In Haiti

May 25, 2012

Yay! In Haiti (finally) after Long airplane rides, dirty hotels, and long, hot, sweaty customs lines. So glad to be here. Especially with all the instrument in almost perfect shape!!! I got here early in the morning and drove straight to Mirebalais. I then had a wonderful lunch (fried goat, rice and beans, fried plantains, potatoes, French fries, and veggies.) then I went straight to teaching. I had a workshop with about thirty kids and showed and taught them about the instruments.(so sorry, can’t add picture now, it is too hard to to but will as soon as possible)I cant wait to start the first private lessons tomorrow! It will be so much fun! Will post more tomorrow( hopefully, you never know in Haiti)
